Tray Dub

On this stretch of Langstrath beck the river runs clear and deep, cool emerald below the dry crystalline pillars of rock which form the steep trench of Tray Dub. The dynamic boundary between rock and water can change rapidly. We returned after heavy rains to find the river deafening with thrashing water, tumbling and foaming; scouring vegetation from the rock walls.
