Rowan Tree Cascade

Bright flame red berries smoulder amongst the dark green foliage of these overhanging Rowan trees, mirroring the graceful curve of a waterfall in Greenup Gill. These steep becks continue to sculpt the valleys by slicing through bedrock, grinding rocks to pebbles, grit to silt; in time carrying mountains into the lakes and out to sea.
