Launchy Gill 1

The mountain torrents change character after prolonged rains during the autumn. The steep gorges are loud with the sounds of tumbling, crashing water. After an afternoon spent in the deafening ravines one feels a great relief on emerging into the relative peace of the surrounding woodland.
